The Yoshimura RS-12 Full Exhaust System is a complete header-and-muffler replacement for a Yamaha application, built with a stainless steel header, an aluminum canister and a carbon fiber end cap.

Yamaha's motocross four-strokes use a reverse-cylinder layout that routes the exhaust differently from every other machine in the class, which means the header geometry is specific in a way it is not elsewhere. A system built for a YZ is not adapted from something else.

The RS-12 canister itself is Yoshimura's current off-road design — shorter than the RS-9 it replaced, with the mass pulled forward and inboard from the worst place on the bike to carry it.
