The Yoshimura RS-12 Full Exhaust System is a complete header-and-muffler replacement for a Kawasaki application, built with a stainless steel header, an aluminum canister and a carbon fiber end cap.

The RS-12 is Yoshimura's current-generation off-road canister. It is shorter and more tightly packaged than the RS-9 and RS-4 that came before it, which pulls mass forward and inboard — on a dirt bike the muffler sits at the widest, highest, furthest-back point of the machine, and moving weight away from there is felt every time the bike changes direction.

A full system is the change worth making over a slip-on. The header determines where in the rev range the power arrives as much as the canister determines how much of it there is.
