The Yoshimura RS-12 Stainless Slip-On Exhaust is a bolt-on muffler for 2023-2026 KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas 250cc to 450cc four-stroke motocross machines, featuring the asymmetrical RS-12 canister profile with an aluminum muffler body, precision-machined joints, a works-look matte carbon fiber end cap with decal inlays, and the patent-pending Precision Taper Fit (PTF) insert ring.

The RS-12 is the first Yoshimura production motocross exhaust to run a resonator in the muffler, and that is what distinguishes it on the Austrian platforms: rather than simply moving the power up the range, the resonator unlocks bottom and midrange, giving a measurably wider usable curve alongside gains of 2.7% peak horsepower and 2.6% peak torque.

The asymmetrical canister shape maximizes internal muffler volume while tucking the body in for extra rear tire and brake caliper clearance — the two places a motocross muffler actually gets destroyed. Precision-machined joints replace crimped slip fits, and the carbon end cap mounts in a way that genuinely eases servicing compared with sandwich-mount designs.
