The Yoshimura RS-12 Full Exhaust System is a complete header-and-muffler replacement built with a stainless steel header, an aluminum canister and a carbon fiber end cap.

A full system is the change worth making over a slip-on on any four-stroke off-road machine. The slip-on alters the last section of the exhaust path; the full system replaces the header as well, and the header does as much to determine where in the rev range the power arrives as the canister does to determine how much of it there is.

The RS-12 is Yoshimura's current-generation off-road canister, shorter and more tightly packaged than the RS-4 and RS-9 it follows, which pulls mass forward and inboard from the worst place on the bike to carry it.
