Yoshimura Spark Arrester Kit SA-15-K | Yoshimura RS-9T Muffler 1.125-Inch | USFS Approved

The Yoshimura Spark Arrester Kit is a USFS-approved 1.125-inch spark arrester insert for Yoshimura RS-9T mufflers, supplied with the spark arrester insert, end-cap collar and set screw.

The RS-9T is Yoshimura's compact canister for minibike and small-bore applications, fitted to machines from Benelli, Honda, Kawasaki and Ohvale from 2011 onward. Those bikes are frequently ridden in the same public riding areas that require an approved spark arrester, and race-intent systems ship without one.

The insert drops into the muffler outlet and is retained by the supplied collar and set screw, so it can come out for closed-course and track use and go back in for public land without disassembling the muffler. It also replaces an original arrester that has clogged with carbon or been damaged.

Required equipment for riding an RS-9T equipped minibike or small-bore machine in US Forest Service areas, BLM land and organized OHV parks. Confirm your muffler is an RS-9T with a 1.125-inch outlet before ordering — the standard RS-9 uses kit SA-14-K instead.
