The Yoshimura RS-4 Stainless Slip-On Exhaust is a bolt-on muffler for the 2018-2022 Yamaha YZ450F, 2019-2022 YZ450FX and 2019-2022 WR450F, featuring a pentagonal aluminum muffler, a front cap that functions as a poly-resonant chamber, a two-stage stepped baffle and a stainless steel tail-pipe.

The poly-resonant front cap is the engineering that matters. Working with the stepped two-stage baffle, it reduces noise while lifting power through the mid range and top end — a combination that counts on a 450 motocrosser, where sound testing at race events is routine and a loud bike can be turned away.

The pentagonal muffler shape maximizes internal volume within the space beside the subframe, and the canister accepts spark arresters and sound inserts so the same bike covers a moto track and public land.
