The Yoshimura RS-2 Stainless Slip-On Exhaust is a bolt-on muffler for the 1995-2013 Honda XR650L, built entirely from stainless steel — canister, sleeve and end cap — and mounting to the stock header.

The XR650L is one of the longest-running dual sports ever built, essentially unchanged across nearly two decades, and its stock exhaust is famously heavy and restrictive. Replacing it is the single most common modification on the platform, and stainless construction suits a bike that tends to be used hard and stored outside.

The RS-2's pyramidal canister increases internal packing volume over a round muffler of the same footprint, giving a larger core and better power delivery while keeping sound in check. It accepts spark arresters and sound inserts, which matters on a bike that spends most of its life on public land.
