xThe Yoshimura Sound Insert is a removable baffle that fits the 1.625-inch outlet of an RS-12 muffler to reduce exhaust noise.
Race mufflers are loud by design, and there are places where that becomes the difference between riding and going home: a track with a dB limit at the gate, a practice facility with a posted noise ceiling, a riding area that gets complaints. The insert brings the output down without taking the exhaust off the bike.
It fits from the outlet end and secures with a single fastener, so it goes in or comes out at the truck in under a minute.

This is a sound insert, not a spark arrester. It reduces noise only and does not meet USFS or BLM spark arrester requirements. If you ride land where a spark arrester is required, order the correct Yoshimura spark arrester for your muffler instead.
Fits Yoshimura RS-12 mufflers with a 1.625-inch outlet. Confirm your canister and outlet size before ordering — inserts are not interchangeable between Yoshimura muffler families or outlet diameters.
