Description
xThe Yoshimura Muffler Mounting Bracket is the exhaust hanger for fitting a Yoshimura slip-on or full system to a Suzuki, replacing or supplementing the bracket supplied with the exhaust.
Mounting brackets are application-specific because every chassis positions its muffler differently. The bracket sets the canister angle, its clearance to the bodywork and its clearance to the rider's heel — a generic hanger will get at least one of those wrong.
They are also a common replacement item, carrying the muffler's load through every heat cycle and vibration cycle the bike sees. A bracket that has been through a crash, or worked against a perished grommet, will show elongated holes or fatigue cracks well before the exhaust itself is done.
