The LeoVince Nero is a black slip-on muffler for the 2011-2016 Piaggio MP3 500 and the 2007-2012 Piaggio MP3 400, built with a stainless steel sleeve finished in metallic black paint applied using ceramic engineering techniques, an asymmetrical slash-cut carbon fibre end cap, a stainless steel bracket and TIG-welded construction.

Nero is LeoVince's blacked-out line, and the reason it suits the MP3 is that the three-wheeler's standard exhaust is a large, pale, entirely utilitarian box hung on the right-hand side where nothing hides it. A black canister with a carbon end cap changes the character of the machine more than the same part would on a motorcycle, simply because there is so little else competing for attention back there.

The finish is a metallic black applied with ceramic engineering techniques rather than a conventional paint, formulated to stay put at exhaust temperatures instead of discolouring at the hot end. The end cap is cut asymmetrically — a deliberate design choice rather than a manufacturing one.
