The LeoVince LV-10 for the Kawasaki Z1000 family is a pair of slip-on mufflers, supplied as a two-canister set, manufactured entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel with a matte finish, sandblasted end caps, rear stainless steel mesh and laser-cut mounting brackets.

This is a set of two, not a single muffler. The Z1000 and its relatives run twin canisters, one each side, so the kit has to supply both — which is why it costs roughly two-thirds more than a single-canister LV-10 rather than the same.

It does not fit the 2003-2009 Z1000. Fitment starts at 2010, when Kawasaki introduced the generation this part was designed around. The earlier Z1000 is a different motorcycle with different exhaust routing, and this set will not go on it.

The LV-10 is the shortest canister LeoVince makes, developed alongside the company's Moto2 and Moto3 programmes. On these machines the standard silencers are large, heavy, emissions-sized units hung high on either side of the tail — about the worst place on a motorcycle to carry weight — so replacing both with short stainless canisters changes the mass distribution as well as the look.

Fits the 2010-2016 and 2017-2020 Kawasaki Z1000, the 2010-2016 Kawasaki Z1000SX and the 2010-2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 and Ninja 1000 ABS. It does not fit the 2003-2009 Z1000. LeoVince classifies this part as a California CARB replacement part, which applies only while the original catalytic converter is left unmodified and no ECU or sensor changes are made.
