The LeoVince LV-10 Black Edition is a slip-on muffler for the 2018-2020 Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 and the 2019-2020 Husqvarna Svartpilen 701, manufactured entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel and finished in a high-temperature-resistant ceramic paint, with a sandblasted end cap, rear stainless steel mesh and TIG-welded construction.

The 701s are the most design-led bikes Husqvarna has built — flat tank, minimal bodywork, everything stripped to the frame — and the standard silencer is the one part that does not follow the brief, a bulky emissions-sized unit that breaks the line of the bike. The LV-10 is the shortest canister LeoVince makes, so it suits a machine whose whole appeal is how little of it there is.

The ceramic paint is formulated to resist exhaust temperatures rather than to look good on a shelf, which matters on a big single: the 701 puts a lot of heat through one pipe, and a cosmetic black coating would discolour at the collector end within a season.

LeoVince classifies this part as a California CARB replacement part, which applies only while the original catalytic converter is left unmodified and no ECU or sensor changes are made.
