The LeoVince Cat Eliminator is an AISI 304 stainless steel link pipe for the 2017-2026 Yamaha MT-10, MT-10 SP and FZ-10, TIG-welded, with dimensions developed on the dyno, replacing the catalytic converter section of the standard system.
You do not need a new silencer to use it. LeoVince states the pipe is compatible with the original exhaust and muffler, so it can be fitted on its own — or paired with the LeoVince LV-10 for the same bike, which comes in bare stainless (15203U), ceramic black (15203BU) and carbon fibre (15203CU).
The MT-10 carries a large catalytic converter in a heavy under-slung housing beneath the engine — low, central mass that a decat removes outright. Because LeoVince develops the pipe's diameter and length on the dyno rather than simply copying the original's outside dimensions, the change affects where the crossplane four's torque sits rather than just how loud it is.
This is a closed course part. LeoVince is explicit: for closed course competition only. Removing the catalytic converter means it cannot be a CARB replacement part, does not conform to U.S. EPA requirements, and is not legal for use on a pollution-controlled vehicle on public roads. Fitting one to a street-registered motorcycle is tampering under federal law.
Fits the 2017-2026 Yamaha MT-10 and MT-10 SP, and the 2017-2018 Yamaha FZ-10 — the US name for the same motorcycle before Yamaha adopted the global MT-10 badge in 2019. Closed course competition use only.
