The LeoVince Cat Eliminator is an AISI 304 stainless steel link pipe for the 2012-2019 KTM 690 Duke and 690 Duke R, the 2018-2020 Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 and the 2019-2020 Husqvarna Svartpilen 701, TIG-welded and dimensioned on the dyno to improve torque and peak power.

You do not need a new silencer to use it. LeoVince states the pipe is compatible with the stock exhaust and muffler as well as with a LeoVince slip-on, so it works on its own — or alongside the LV-10 Black Edition for the 701s (part 15220BU).

One part covers both badges because they are the same motorcycle underneath: the Vitpilen and Svartpilen 701 are built on KTM's 690 Duke platform, sharing the big single, the frame and the exhaust routing.

A large single is where a decat is most noticeable. There is only one cylinder's worth of gas to move, so the restriction imposed by a catalytic converter sits directly in the path of everything the engine does, and LeoVince develops the pipe's diameter and length on the dyno rather than copying the original's outside dimensions.

This is a closed course part. LeoVince is explicit: for closed course competition only. Removing the catalytic converter means it cannot be a CARB replacement part, does not conform to U.S. EPA requirements, and is not legal for use on a pollution-controlled vehicle on public roads. Fitting one to a street-registered motorcycle is tampering under federal law.
