The LeoVince LV-X is an aluminium slip-on muffler for the 1996-2026 Suzuki DR650SE, built with a semi-direct internal structure, carbon clamps that fasten it to the frame, a laser-etched LeoVince logo and an included spark arrestor that meets U.S. Forest Service homologation requirements.

The spark arrestor is the reason to buy this one. Most public trail systems administered by the U.S. Forest Service and the BLM require an approved spark arrestor, and a great many aftermarket mufflers do not have one. This muffler ships with a USFS-qualifying arrestor fitted, so it does not close off the riding that a DR650 exists to do.

One part covers thirty model years because the DR650SE has barely changed since 1996 — the frame, engine and exhaust mounting have carried through essentially untouched, which is a large part of the bike's appeal and why the aftermarket for it is so stable.

The internals are a semi-direct design rather than a fully baffled one, and LeoVince sizes the canister to the specific engine rather than using a common shell, which is what allows a muffler this light to be built around torque delivery rather than peak numbers alone. It mounts to the frame on carbon clamps.
