The LeoVince 80001 cat eliminator is a stainless steel de-cat link pipe for the 2015-2026 Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M, built from TIG-welded AISI 304 with dyno-developed internal dimensions, and intended for closed-course competition use only.

A link pipe is the section between the headers and the muffler, and on the R1 it is where Yamaha puts the catalytic converter and the restriction that comes with it. Replacing it removes both. LeoVince size each link pipe on the dyno for the specific engine rather than using one common tube, which is what lets the part add midrange torque instead of simply trading low-end for a louder noise.

It works with the original muffler as well as with LeoVince slip-ons, so it can be fitted on its own as a first step or added later to a bike that already has an aftermarket can.
