xThe Akrapovic Optional Header is a 4-into-2-into-1 stainless steel header set for the 2017-2024 Kawasaki Z900.
The figures are the reason to fit it: +9.0 hp at 10,100 rpm and +4.1 lb-ft at 9,150 rpm. That is a very large gain from a single component, and it exists because the Z900's catalyst sits in the header where no slip-on can reach it. Anyone running just the muffler on this bike has most of the available power still locked up.

Important: this header does not fit the Z900 A2 (the restricted-licence version). Check which variant you have before ordering.
Fits the 2017-2024 Kawasaki Z900. The 2025 Z900 was revised and takes different parts. The Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe use their own header (E-K9R3), which we also stock.
This is a header set only and requires a compatible Akrapovič muffler. Removing the catalyst affects the bike's emissions status; expect to need a remap.
