The Yoshimura RS-12 ADV Stainless Slip-On Exhaust is a bolt-on muffler for the 2021-2026 Yamaha Tenere 700, featuring an asymmetrical stainless steel RS-12 canister, a works-look matte carbon fiber end cap with a custom carbon fiber heel guard, and the patent-pending Precision Taper Fit (PTF) insert ring, cutting muffler weight from 13.4 pounds to 8.7 pounds while adding 3.7% peak horsepower.

The RS-12 ADV was engineered specifically for off-road demands rather than adapted from a street canister. Its asymmetrical profile maximizes internal muffler volume — which is what manages sound and makes the power — while pulling the body in tight for extra rear tire and brake caliper clearance, the two places an adventure bike muffler actually gets damaged.
