Yoshimura RS-5 Street Stainless Slip-On Exhaust with Stainless Muffler | Honda CBR600RR 2007-2008

The Yoshimura RS-5 Street Stainless Slip-On Exhaust is an undertail bolt-on muffler for the 2007-2008 Honda CBR600RR, built with a stainless steel muffler sleeve, a carbon fiber cone end cap, and a high-flow straight baffle with a removable low-volume insert.

The 2007-2008 CBR600RR was the generation that dropped the undertail exhaust for a side-mount on later bikes, which makes correct part selection important — this canister is specific to the 07-08 chassis and will not fit the 2009 and later machines. Many of these bikes are now track-only, and the RS-5 remains the standard exhaust choice for them.

The trapezoidal profile is what makes the RS-5 work: the flat-sided sleeve packs far more sound-absorbing material into the available space than a round canister could, which lets the straight-through baffle flow properly without the bike becoming intolerable on the road.

Fits the 2007-2008 Honda CBR600RR only. The 2009-2026 CBR600RR uses part number 960-1244, and the carbon-sleeved version of this same muffler is 960-1240. Designed for a factory-standard motorcycle; aftermarket bodywork or rearsets may affect fitment.
