Yoshimura RS-5 Street Stainless Slip-On Exhaust with Carbon Fiber Muffler | Honda CBR600RR 2009-2026

The Yoshimura RS-5 Street Slip-On Exhaust is an undertail bolt-on muffler for the 2009-2026 Honda CBR600RR, built with a carbon fiber muffler sleeve, a carbon fiber cone end cap and a stainless steel link mid-pipe, running a high-flow straight baffle with a removable low-volume insert.

This is the carbon-sleeved version of Yoshimura's definitive undertail canister. On a CBR600RR the weight saving matters twice over: the muffler sits high and far back, the worst place on the motorcycle to carry mass, so removing weight there improves how quickly the bike changes direction as well as what it weighs.

The trapezoidal profile is what makes the RS-5 work in the undertail position — the flat-sided sleeve packs far more sound-absorbing material into that tight space than a round canister could, letting the straight-through baffle flow properly. As a Street Series slip-on it bolts on without disturbing the emissions control system.

Fits the 2009-2026 Honda CBR600RR as a direct bolt-on. The 2007-2008 CBR600RR uses part number 960-1240 instead, and the stainless-sleeved version of this muffler is 960-1244. Designed for a factory-standard motorcycle; aftermarket bodywork or rearsets may affect fitment.
