The Yoshimura RS-2 Stainless Slip-On Exhaust is a bolt-on muffler for the 2022-2026 Kawasaki KLR650, built entirely from stainless steel with a diamond-shape RS-2 canister and a straight core baffle, and it accepts both spark arresters and sound inserts.

The KLR650 returned in 2022 after a three-year absence, fuel-injected but still deliberately simple and still carrying a very heavy, very quiet factory exhaust. On a bike bought for long-distance dual sport work, removing that weight from high on the right-hand side is worth more than the noise most riders associate with a slip-on.

All-stainless construction is the right call for a KLR. These bikes are ridden in weather, loaded with luggage and frequently dropped, and stainless stands up to all three better than an aluminium sleeve. Spark arrester compatibility keeps it legal for the public land a KLR is built to cross.
