The Yoshimura RS-12 Stainless Slip-On Exhaust is a bolt-on muffler for the 2020-2026 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L, featuring an asymmetrical stainless steel RS-12 canister, a works-look matte carbon fiber end cap with a custom carbon fiber heel guard, a removable baffle, and the patent-pending Precision Taper Fit (PTF) insert ring.

The RS-12 ADV profile was engineered for off-road use rather than adapted from a street canister. Its asymmetrical shape maximizes internal muffler volume — which is what manages sound while allowing flow — and tucks the body in close for additional rear tire and brake caliper clearance, the two places an adventure bike muffler actually takes damage on technical terrain.

The PTF insert ring is the practical standout: sound inserts and spark arresters fit and release easily, which matters on a bike ridden in forest-service areas where an approved arrester is required. The redesigned RS-12 end cap also improves durability and serviceability compared with the sandwich-mount designs common elsewhere in the industry.
