Upgrade the front braking system of your compatible KTM motorcycle with the Brembo Serie Oro Front Floating Brake Rotor, part number 78B408A7. Designed for dependable street and performance use, this floating rotor combines a stainless-steel braking band with a CNC-machined and anodized aluminum alloy hub. The two-piece construction supports effective braking performance while maintaining the precision and durability expected from Brembo components.
The stainless-steel braking band is connected to the aluminum hub by drive pawls, allowing the braking torque to be transmitted efficiently through the rotor assembly. Brembo developed the rotor’s specific machining tolerances and component configuration to help improve braking response while providing better resistance to thermal and mechanical stress. This design is suited to demanding riding conditions where consistent braking control and durable construction are important.
This Brembo Serie Oro front floating rotor is compatible with the 2008-2011 KTM 990 Supermoto R and the 2010-2013 KTM 990 Supermoto T. Verify the motorcycle model and year before installation to ensure proper application. As a direct braking-system component, installation should be completed according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures, with all related hardware inspected and the braking system properly tested before regular riding.
