Brembo Prime CC Carbon Ceramic Brake Pads are designed for riders seeking dependable braking performance, consistent feel, and extended service life across a wide range of riding conditions. The organic compound uses an increased carbon content to support reliable operation in both hot and cold temperatures, as well as dry and wet weather. This versatile friction material is engineered for practical everyday use on select Yamaha motorcycles and scooters.
The semi-metallic organic formulation provides a lower friction coefficient than Brembo XS compound pads while maintaining strong stability and moldability. This balanced friction behavior helps deliver predictable braking control without an overly aggressive initial bite, making the pads especially well suited to small- and medium-displacement applications. The compound is designed to provide dependable performance during commuting, recreational riding, and varied road conditions.
These Brembo brake pads are identified by part number 07YA0713 and are compatible with the listed Yamaha fitments, including the 1980–1982 Yamaha XS650S Special, 1983 Yamaha XV920 Virago, 1981 Yamaha XS1100, 1980 Yamaha XS650, and 1981 Yamaha XS650. Verify the motorcycle model, year, and existing pad specification before installation. For best results, install according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures and properly bed in the pads and rotor before demanding full braking performance.
