Brembo Prime CC brake pads deliver dependable stopping performance for riders seeking a durable friction material with consistent response across a wide range of conditions. The semi-metallic organic compound uses a higher carbon content to support long service life, reliable performance during both hot and cold operation, and confident braking in dry or wet weather. Designed as an evolution of Brembo’s organic compound technology, these pads provide a practical balance of performance, stability, and everyday usability.
The 07KA0122 compound offers lower friction coefficient values than Brembo XS compound pads while maintaining strong stability and moldability. This makes the pads well suited to small- and medium-displacement scooters and motorcycles that require predictable braking control during commuting, touring, and general road use. The Prime CC material is engineered to provide smooth engagement and consistent friction characteristics, helping riders maintain control through changing riding conditions.
These Brembo brake pads are designed for select Kawasaki applications, including the 2010 through 2013 Kawasaki Z1000, 1978 and 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000C/P Police models, 1984 and 1985 Kawasaki ZX550 GPz models, and 1977 and 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000A/J models. Verify the motorcycle year, model, and existing brake pad specifications before installation to ensure proper application. For best results, install according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures and properly bed the pads and rotors before normal riding.
