The Arai Quantum-X Oriental Black Frost is a Snell M2025 and DOT certified full-face motorcycle helmet built on Arai's Peripherally Belted Super Complex Laminate Construction shell with the VAS-V MV shield and a Pinlock anti-fog insert, cut for a round oval head shape and available in sizes XS through 2XL.

The Quantum-X is Arai's round oval helmet — and that is the reason to buy it. A round oval head is wider side-to-side relative to its front-to-back length, and riders with that shape typically find most helmets pinch the forehead and leave gaps at the temples. The Quantum series has been the answer to that for decades, and the Quantum-X continues it with balanced length and slightly more width. If your head is not round oval, look at the Corsair-X (intermediate oval) or the Signet-X (long oval) instead.

A genuinely useful piece of flexibility: installing a Corsair-X head liner converts the Quantum-X to an intermediate oval fit. That is unusual — it means if you are between shapes, or your head shape sits on the boundary, this one helmet can be adjusted to either rather than sold and replaced.

The Oriental Black Frost is a matte finish over the Oriental graphic. Underneath, the VAS system mounts the shield pivot lower than most helmets, with dual-function levers for quick shield removal, and a chin curtain blocks air intrusion while improving exhaust ventilation.
