Engineered with an improved Glance Off Ability, the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield lowers the pivot point by approximately 24 mm, creating a smoother shell surface in the critical temple area. This design effectively reduces impact energy transfer, enhancing rider safety. The enhanced VAS shield latch securely holds the shield closed to prevent unexpected openings, while its larger size facilitates intuitive, seamless shield operation and de-misting functionality.

Featuring QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, this helmet delivers excellent airflow management for superior ventilation during rides. Even when the front shutter is closed, the side vent continues to serve as an exhaust vent, maintaining optimal air circulation. The water-repellent ES chin cover, pre-installed to complement the helmet’s aerodynamic egg shape, smooths airflow, increases exhaust efficiency from the mouth area, and reduces wind noise from below.

The contoured FCS cheek pads combine multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a foam spring, cradling the face comfortably, easing helmet removal and application, and effectively blocking wind noise for a quieter ride. Constructed using the Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), the shell integrates multiple materials and techniques to balance high performance with affordability.

This helmet comes equipped with the VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield, compatible with the included VAS-MV Pinlock® 120 lens, providing enhanced vision clarity and fog resistance.
