The Arai Corsair-X Ogura Red and Blue is a Snell 2020 and DOT certified full-face motorcycle helmet built on Arai's PB-SNC2 shell with the VAS Variable Axis System shield, cut for an intermediate oval head shape and available in sizes XS through 2XL.

Head shape before size. The Corsair-X is an intermediate oval helmet — for a head slightly longer front-to-back than side-to-side, the most common shape. If yours is rounder, Arai builds the Quantum-X for you; if it is long and narrow, the Signet-X. Size will not compensate for the wrong shape.

Under the red and blue Ogura livery sits Arai's flagship road-race helmet. The PB-SNC2 shell is built from Super Fiber and synthetic fibres originally developed for Formula 1 visor panels, and the VAS shield system lowers the pivot point around 24 mm so the temple area — the part of the shell most likely to catch in a slide — stays smooth and sheds impact energy rather than absorbing it.
