Constructed with a PB-SNC2 Shell made from Z Resin, this helmet bonds multiple layers and materials securely while using less resin, resulting in improved shell strength and reduced weight. The incorporation of Super Fiber and special synthetic reinforcing fibers creates a robust yet lightweight shell with excellent Glancing Off properties. Additionally, the internal Structural net and Peripheral Belt reinforce the shell without adding unnecessary weight or thickness.

The helmet's Shield Latch utilizes a Variable Axis System (VAS) that captures and securely holds the shield closed, preventing unexpected openings. The VAS Shield Mechanism combines pin trajectory with dual pivot point slots, allowing the shield to open and close smoothly, even with a lower shield mount position. The dual-function lever facilitates quick and simple shield removal, while the larger latch design ensures intuitive operation, even when wearing heavy gloves.

With a positive stop feature, the shield resists unintentional opening, even in the de-mist position. A slight pull on the lift tab clears this stop, enabling effortless lifting of the shield. The IC Duct5 employs a three-position slide gate, improving sealing for reduced noise and water intrusion. Vents are designed to be lightly mounted, ensuring they easily detach in the event of an impact, minimizing snagging on obstacles and preventing excess rotational force.
