Head shape before size. The Corsair-X is an intermediate oval helmet — for a head slightly longer front-to-back than side-to-side. If yours is rounder, the Quantum-X is the model built for you; if it is long and narrow, the Signet-X. An XL in the wrong shape will still hurt.

Aluminum Silver is one of the Corsair-X solid finishes — the flagship race helmet without replica graphics. Light metallic runs cooler in direct sun than a dark shell and hides road grime far better than matte black. Underneath is the same helmet the replicas use.
