The Yoshimura Alpha-T Street Slip-On Exhaust is a bolt-on muffler for the Suzuki Katana, built with a stainless steel header pipe and stainless steel muffler sleeve topped with a carbon fiber end cap, finished in Yoshimura's exclusive Works Finish, and mounting directly to the stock header with no ECU remapping required.

The modern Katana is built on GSX-S1000 underpinnings wrapped in deliberately retro-modern bodywork, and its factory muffler is the one component that most obviously breaks that styling — a large, blunt catalysed canister hung low on the right. The Alpha-T's tapered profile is a considerably better visual match for the bike's flat tail section.

The Works Finish is the detail that sets it apart: rather than a fixed coating, it develops its colour through the system's first heat cycles on the motorcycle, ending up close in appearance to the titanium works components on Yoshimura's factory race bikes. Stainless construction with a carbon end cap gives durability where the muffler takes knocks and carbon where it shows.
