Description
xThe Akrapovič P-MCCZ3 is a Type CZ3 muffler clamp, the band clamp that secures an Akrapovič muffler to its link pipe, available individually as a replacement.
The CZ series comes in several sizes and they are not interchangeable. We stock CZ3, CZ4, CZ11 and CZ19, and the difference between them is the joint diameter — a clamp one size out will either not close or will not grip. Check the type marked on the clamp you are removing before ordering, or send us your muffler's part number and we will tell you which one it takes.
Clamps are a genuine wear item. Repeated heat cycling and removal costs the band its clamping force, and the symptom is a joint that will not stay sealed no matter how hard you tighten it — often misdiagnosed as a gasket or a warped flange when the clamp is the real cause.
- Type CZ3 band clamp
- Secures an Akrapovič muffler to its link pipe
- A wear item — clamps lose clamping force after repeated heat cycling
- CZ3, CZ4, CZ11 and CZ19 differ by joint diameter and are not interchangeable
- Made in Slovenia by Akrapovič
This is a service part for Akrapovič exhaust systems rather than a part fitted to a specific motorcycle. Contact us with the part number stamped on your muffler and we will confirm which clamp type it uses.
