The Akrapovič Slip-On Line muffler S-H125SO4-ASZTBL is a black-coated titanium slip-on exhaust for the current-generation Honda Grom, sold as the MSX125 outside North America, replacing the oversized factory silencer with a compact Akrapovič canister that bolts to the stock header.

Note on the model name and year: Honda sells this machine as the Grom in the United States and Canada and as the MSX125 in Europe and Asia. Honda launched the current generation as a 2021 model in Europe and a 2022 model in the US, so a US Grom owner should read this as 2022 onward and an MSX125 owner as 2021 onward. It is the same bike and the same muffler.

Proportion is the whole argument on a Grom. The stock silencer is comically oversized against a 125 cc frame — Honda had to build it that way to meet noise regulations, and it visually unbalances a bike whose appeal is being small and tidy. The Akrapovič muffler is a fraction of the size and finished in black-coated titanium, which suits the Grom's blacked-out styling far better than a bright can and hides scuffs from the inevitable tip-overs.

The weight saving matters more here than the number suggests. On a motorcycle this light, removing the stock silencer is a measurable percentage of the whole machine, and it comes off the very back of a short-wheelbase bike.
