The Akrapovič Slip-On Line muffler S-Y3SO5-HAPC is a hand-made carbon-fibre slip-on exhaust for the 2022-2026 Yamaha YZF-R3 and 2021-2026 Yamaha MT-03, saving 38.8% of the stock silencer's weight — 1.1 kg — and approved to EC/ECE and Euro 5 standards with plug-and-play fitment and no ECU remapping required.

On a 321 cc twin, every kilogram counts more than it does on a litre bike, and 1.1 kg off the silencer is roughly a 39% reduction in the mass hanging off the back of the machine. The muffler is built from a hand-made carbon-fibre outer sleeve over a stainless-steel inner structure, attached to a stainless-steel link pipe and finished with an imprinted carbon-fibre end cap and a matching carbon heat shield. The heat shield is included rather than sold separately, which is not always the case on small-displacement slip-ons.

This is the right choice for an R3 or MT-03 owner who wants the bike to look and sound like a serious piece of equipment without touching the ECU, failing an inspection or taking on any fuelling risk. It is EC/ECE and Euro 5 approved, which means it is genuinely street legal rather than a race part with a disclaimer. Installation is a bolt-on job with hand tools.

Fits the 2022-2026 Yamaha YZF-R3 and the 2021-2026 Yamaha MT-03. The R3 and MT-03 share the same chassis and exhaust mounting, so this one part covers both. It does not fit the earlier 2015-2021 YZF-R3 or the 2020 MT-03 — Akrapovič builds a separate system for that generation.
