The Akrapovič Slip-On Line muffler S-K9SO11-HZT is a titanium slip-on exhaust for the 2025-2026 Kawasaki Z900, ECE type approved and street legal, replacing the heavy factory silencer with an Akrapovič titanium canister that bolts to the stock header with no ECU remapping.

This is the road-legal option for the 2025 Z900. Akrapovič offers more than one muffler for this bike and they are not equivalent on paper: this part carries ECE type approval, which means it is designed to be ridden on the road and to pass inspection. The alternative Akrapovič muffler for the same machine is a competition part with no approval. If you ride your Z900 on public roads, this is the one to buy — and it is worth being deliberate about that choice, because the two look similar in a listing and only one of them is legal.

The Z900's stock silencer is a large stainless assembly that Kawasaki sized for noise compliance rather than for looks or weight. The titanium replacement takes mass off the back of the bike, exposes more of the rear wheel, and gives the inline four a harder, more metallic note without pushing it past the legal limit. Installation is a bolt-on job to the factory header and requires no fuelling changes.
