The Akrapovic Slip-On Line is a pair of bolt-on titanium mufflers for the 2021-2026 BMW K1600 GT and K1600 GTL, homologated to EC, ECE and EPA standards.

The K1600's inline six is one of the rarest engine layouts in motorcycling and among the best sounding. BMW silences it heavily, which is the correct call for a luxury tourer and a shame for the engine — this is the straightforward way to hear more of it without changing anything else about how the bike behaves.

The numbers are unusually good for a homologated slip-on: +2.3 hp, +2.7 Nm and 3.3 kg saved. That weight comes off high and to the rear, which is exactly where a full-dress tourer least wants it — you notice it most at walking pace and when moving the bike by hand.

Being EPA approved as well as EC/ECE is the part that matters in the United States. Most performance mufflers are sold for closed-course use; this one is legal to fit and ride.
