xThe Akrapovic Slip-On Line is a pair of bolt-on titanium mufflers with carbon fibre for the 2021-2024 BMW K1600 GT and K1600 GTL.
The K1600's inline six is one of the rarest engine layouts in motorcycling and among the best sounding. BMW silences it heavily — the right decision for a luxury tourer, a frustrating one for the engine. Titanium mufflers are the direct way to hear more of it without altering anything else about how the bike behaves.
Weight is the other half of the case. A full-dress K1600 is a heavy motorcycle and this takes mass off high and to the rear, which is where you feel it at walking pace and when moving the bike by hand in a garage.
Being a slip-on, the factory headers and their emissions hardware stay put — no fuelling change and no effect on how the bike starts, idles or tours.
