Akrapovic Slip-On Line Muffler for 2024-2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 / Z500 | Titanium | S-K5SO1-HRT

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line muffler S-K5SO1-HRT is a titanium slip-on exhaust for the 2024-2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Z500, replacing the oversized factory silencer with an Akrapovič titanium canister that bolts to the stock header.

This is the current Ninja 500 — not the 1990s EX500. Kawasaki has used the Ninja 500 name twice, and they are unrelated motorcycles. This muffler fits the parallel-twin Ninja 500 introduced for 2024 as the Ninja 400's replacement. It does not fit the EX500 or ER-5 sold through the 1990s and 2000s, and it does not fit the Ninja 400 either — Akrapovič builds a separate slip-on for that bike, which we stock.

The Ninja 500 leaves the factory with a very large stainless silencer sized for noise compliance rather than for the motorcycle. On a bike this light, replacing it with titanium removes a meaningful share of total mass from the highest, most rearward point on the machine, and it lets the parallel twin be heard instead of muffled to near-silence.
