The Akrapovič Slip-On Line muffler S-D8SO2-HRBL is a black-coated titanium slip-on exhaust for the 2014-2016 Ducati Monster 821, Monster 1200 and Monster 1200 S, replacing the factory silencer with an Akrapovič canister finished in black.

Important — a link pipe is required and is not included. This muffler will not install on its own. Akrapovič supplies the connecting link pipe as a separate part, and you need the correct one for your model before this can be fitted. Please confirm you have the matching link pipe on order, because a muffler arriving without one cannot be installed and this is the single most common cause of a returned Akrapovič Monster order.

The water-cooled Monster is one of the bikes Akrapovič's black finish suits best. Ducati's own styling on the 821 and 1200 leans heavily on dark engine cases and blacked-out frames, and a bright titanium or polished can sits awkwardly against that; the black-coated finish reads as factory-intended. The muffler also takes real weight off the right side of the bike and lets the Testastretta twin produce the hard, uneven bark that the emissions-compliant stock silencer flattens out.
