xThe Akrapovic Slip-On is a bolt-on muffler set for the 2016-2020 Triumph Street Twin.
The Street Twin is a modern classic, and that changes what an exhaust needs to do. On a superbike the brief is weight and power; here it is sound and proportion. Triumph's own silencers on this bike are visually correct but acoustically muted — the 900 cc high-torque twin has a deep, lazy beat that the stock cans largely swallow.
Akrapovič's approach on the modern classics is more restrained than on their sportbike range: the shape stays close to what the bike was designed around, so the motorcycle still reads as a Bonneville rather than as something with aftermarket parts bolted to it.
