The Akrapovič V-TUV111 is an optional noise damper for Akrapovič mufflers, a removable insert that lowers the exhaust's sound level when a quieter system is needed.

Worth keeping one in the toolbox. Track day sound limits are enforced at scrutineering, and they vary by venue — a bike that passed at one circuit can be turned away at the next. A damper is small, cheap relative to the exhaust it protects, and takes two minutes to fit, so keeping one in the van removes the risk entirely.

Order it against your muffler. Dampers are sized to a specific silencer outlet and Akrapovič lists the correct one per system; a mismatch will not seat properly or will work loose. Send us the part number stamped on your Akrapovič muffler and we will confirm TUV111 suits it.
