Akrapovic Noise Damper TUV149 | Removable Sound Insert | V-TUV149

The Akrapovič V-TUV149 is an optional noise damper for Akrapovič mufflers, a removable insert that lowers the exhaust's sound level when a quieter system is required.

Reversible, which is the whole point. A static noise test at a track day is pass-or-go-home, and a road system that sounds right on a Sunday can be unwelcome at 6am on a residential street. The damper handles both and comes out again in a couple of minutes — the exhaust you paid for is still there when you want it.

Order it against your muffler. Dampers are sized to a specific silencer outlet, and Akrapovič lists the correct one for each system. An insert that does not match will not seat properly or will not stay in. Send us the part number stamped on your Akrapovič muffler and we will confirm TUV149 is correct.

Note: a noise damper is not a spark arrester and does not meet USFS or BLM requirements.
