The Akrapovič V-TUV315 is an optional noise damper for Akrapovič exhaust systems on the Suzuki Hayabusa GSX-1300R, reducing the sound level of the system when a quieter exhaust is needed.

This is a removable insert, not a permanent restriction. It fits into the muffler outlet, drops the sound level, and lifts out again in a couple of minutes. That makes it useful for two situations riders actually run into: passing a static noise test at a track day, and keeping the peace on early starts or in a residential street, without giving up the exhaust the rest of the time.
