Akrapovic Optional Header for 2022-2023 Aprilia Tuareg 660 | Stainless Steel | E-A6R1

The Akrapovič E-A6R1 is a large-diameter stainless-steel optional header for the 2022-2023 Aprilia Tuareg 660, designed to be paired with an Akrapovič Slip-On Line muffler to complete the system and release performance the slip-on cannot deliver on its own.

The Tuareg 660 is a genuinely capable middleweight adventure bike built around Aprilia's excellent 660 parallel twin, and the factory header is where its exhaust restriction lives. This header uses larger-diameter tubing than the stock part, which is what allows an Akrapovič muffler to flow as it was designed to. Fitted on its own alongside the standard silencer it does comparatively little; fitted with the Akrapovič slip-on it turns two separate parts into an engineered system.

Stainless steel is the correct material here. On an adventure machine the header sits low and exposed to rock strikes, water crossings and mud, and stainless takes that treatment and cleans up afterwards without the cosmetic damage a lighter material would suffer in the same position.
