The Akrapovič E-Y7R3 is a stainless-steel optional header for the 2025-2026 Yamaha Ténéré 700, replacing the restrictive factory header and catalytic converter so an Akrapovič Slip-On muffler can deliver its full designed flow on the updated Euro 5+ machine.

Yamaha revised the Ténéré 700's exhaust for the 2025 model year to meet Euro 5+, and the emissions hardware that came with that revision sits in the header. A slip-on muffler on its own therefore leaves a meaningful part of the available gain behind. This header removes that restriction and turns an Akrapovič slip-on into a complete system, which is where the real change in throttle response and mid-range on the CP2 parallel twin comes from.

It is fabricated in stainless steel — the correct choice for an adventure bike, where the header is exposed to rock strikes, water crossings and mud rather than living behind fairings. Stainless takes that abuse and cleans up, and it will not suffer the cosmetic damage a lighter material would in the same position.

It requires an Akrapovič muffler to complete the system and is not a standalone exhaust. Removing the catalytic converter makes the resulting system closed-course use only in emissions-regulated states.
