xThe Akrapovič P-85 is an exhaust flange sleeve, the machined sleeve that forms part of a slip joint in an Akrapovič exhaust system.
Sleeves wear. A slip joint relies on close tolerance between the sleeve and the pipe it seats over, and repeated assembly, heat cycling and vibration gradually open that fit. The symptom is a joint that will not seal even with a new gasket and a fresh clamp — at that point the sleeve itself is the worn component. Replacing it restores the fit rather than papering over it.
Order this by part number. Sleeves are sized to a specific joint diameter. If the sleeve you are replacing is marked P-85, or your Akrapovič system's parts list specifies it, this is the right one. Send us that number or your VIN and we will confirm before you order.
