The Akrapovič Evolution Line S-Y4MET16-FDHLTA is a complete titanium exhaust system for the 2023-2024 Yamaha YZ450F and 2024 WR450F, adding 2.4 hp at 10,600 rpm and 1.5 Nm of torque, and built to meet FIM competition noise limits with plug-and-play installation and no remapping.

It meets FIM noise limits — which is the detail that matters at the gate. A race system that cannot pass the sound test is a system you cannot use on race day. This one is built to the FIM limit from the outset, so it clears scrutineering at the events that enforce it rather than needing an insert fitted to get through.

This is a full system: header and muffler both replaced. On a 450 motocrosser the header does most of the work, so a slip-on alone leaves the majority of the gain unclaimed. Akrapovič builds it from premium titanium alloys with wall thickness varied along the system — thicker where it needs impact protection, thinner where it does not — which is how a full titanium system stays this light without becoming fragile.
