The 6D Helmets ATS-1R Helmet features an advanced impact management system designed for optimal safety and comfort. Crafted with a 3K carbon fiber shell, this helmet offers an improved fit and a larger shell opening, ensuring a secure and comfortable ride. The innovative design includes a 10-position shield adjustment with a lockdown lever, an anti-scratch shield certified by VESC-8, and tool-less shield changing for convenience. Additionally, it provides UV protection and comes equipped with a clear PINLOCK® 120 anti-fog insert to enhance visibility in varying conditions.

To combat fogging, the internal breath guard directs fresh air up the inside of the shield while exhausting breath downward, effectively maintaining clarity. Four adjustable intake ports channel air into the helmet, managed by a sophisticated network of 15 transfer ports and 5 exhaust ports that promote continuous airflow. Sculpted air intakes direct air into the chin, brow, and crown regions, easily operable even with gloves on, while optimally positioned exhaust vents enhance internal air circulation by leveraging negative pressure effects.

For added comfort, the helmet features internal brow vents that pull air across the shield’s surface, aiding in cooling and fog dissipation. A removable neck cuff and chin curtain provide additional protection from the elements. The aerodynamic wing, designed using advanced CAD technology, maximizes aerodynamic efficiency, reducing drag, buffeting, and lift at higher speeds. This helmet is also eyewear compatible and includes integrated speaker pockets for a seamless riding experience.

At the heart of the ATS-1R is the 6D Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) technology, a fully active in-helmet suspension and kinetic energy management system. This innovative feature uncouples the helmet’s exterior shell from the inner EPS liner, significantly mitigating energy transfer to the rider's head and brain during impacts. It boasts 3-dimensional displacement of the inner liner upon impact, utilizing two separate EPS liners separated by elastomeric isolation dampers to reduce both linear and angular acceleration forces.
