The Rotobox BOOST is the new and improved version of the popular RBX2 carbon fiber wheel. It is made from Rotobox’s unique 3-component composite, which combines carbon fiber, epoxy, and stainless steel. The stainless steel wire in each side of the rim increases impact resistance at the most critical outer part. The BOOST is also JWL and DOT approved, having met JASO T203-85 safety standards.
Another hidden gem of the BOOST is the Structural Rib. Thanks to High Pressure Core Technology, the structural rib is placed in the inner side between the spokes, supporting the stress hot spot of the wheel. As a result, the BOOST’s elegant spoke design brings greater stiffness and strength, even though the spokes are thinner. The BOOST has a permissible static load of 617 pounds on the rear and 400 pounds on the front wheel.
