Equipped with the cutting-edge Variable Axis System (VAS) shield, this helmet features a lowered pivot point by an average of 24 mm, creating a smoother shell surface in the critical temple area. This design significantly improves glance-off ability, reducing impact energy transfer and enhancing rider safety. The improved VAS shield latch securely holds the shield closed to prevent unexpected openings, while its larger size allows for intuitive, seamless shield operation including an effective de-mist function.

Optimal ventilation is achieved through the QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, delivering excellent air intake and exhaust performance. Even when the front shutter is closed, the side vent continues to serve as an exhaust vent, maintaining consistent airflow and rider comfort. The water-repellent ES chin cover enhances the helmet’s aerodynamic egg shape, smoothing airflow, increasing exhaust from the mouth area, and reducing wind noise from below.

The helmet’s FCS cheek pads feature a contoured shape with multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a foam spring. This thoughtful construction cradles the face, facilitates easier on-off, and helps block wind noise, providing a quieter, more enjoyable ride. The Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell combines multiple materials and techniques to deliver exceptional performance without compromising affordability.

Included with the helmet is the VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield, compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens system. The Pinlock® 120 MaxVision insert is also included, offering enhanced fog resistance for clear vision in varying weather conditions.
